Junk around house

xxx.xxxx.xxxx
Must have 4 wheeler to get to property.
I’m aware that there are people who specialize in salvage, but don’t you think this is a little … ambitious? “Here’s years worth of crap that I’ve left lying around outside my house … come take it away for me and I won’t pay you for doing it.”
The only thing missing in that pile is a vacuum cleaner. It might be fun to go Office Space on the printer though. (Warning: music NSFW.)
When I talk about ‘junk around the house’, I’m generally referring to the stuff INSIDE the house….
If you need a 4wheeler to get to the property, how do you suppose you could get all that lovely junk out… on your lap while riding the 4wheeler?
Love you site by the way… found it today and read every single post LOL
Sure wish I could edit posts here. My spelling mistakes make me feel like I was a 3rd grade drop out after reading this site ๐
Anyone figure out what that red thing is?
Looks like some sort of canoe or kayak to me. Of course that was at first glance. Now that you’ve asked and I have gone back and stared at it, it looks like it might be the hood of a car? The angle/lighting made me think it was some sort of watercraft, but now I’m not so sure.
Shyla:
Maybe I can be of assistance here.
This is obviously a listing from a relatively rural area, where people commonly have 4-wheelers. Many owners of 4-wheelers also own utility trailers that can be pulled behind them, so as to carry some (relatively small) things.
That fact doesn’t make posting this on Craigslist any less funny, though.
So, one can ONLY get to the property by using a 4-wheeler? NOTHING else?? You can’t get there by car, mountain bike, mountain goat, bobcat, beast of burden, airplane, KAYAK*, rescue chopper–?
*A kayak does, in fact, seem to be pictured. Perhaps that is how the unfortunate poster got there, and now he cannot get out using such a vehicle?
I’m guessing they really mean a truck with 4WD, and not a 4-wheeled ATV, which is what the rest of the world associates with the colloquialism “4 wheeler.”
And the red thing looks like the back of a truck bed, the part that folds down… I think they call that part the “gate,” not that I’m hip to truck (or redneck) lingo. Since I don’t need a truck for any part of my life, I don’t own one.
Maybe (s)he could trade that kayak for an HVAC.
It’s a bed cover for a truck. Spatial awareness is a funny thing, apparently. ๐
