Infant Cereal
I have 5 un-opened boxes of baby cereal. 2 Rice and 3 Oatmeal. One has a best by date of Oct 31, 2008 but I am sure it is still fine. The others do not expire until Jan and Feb 09. Email me if interested. Thanks.
Because if your baby could have a wish on Thanksgiving Day, wouldn’t they wish for expired Oatmeal?
Ach! I’m sure its *fine*! 😉
I saw this ad not too long ago. Weird as it seems, it kinda made sense to me–I was on WIC during my maternity leave and was eligible for like 3 boxes of baby cereal a month. I kept getting the cereal because I didn’t want the coupons to go to waste, but wtf do you even do with that much baby cereal once you bring it home? Ergo, free section of CL.
MFC: Sure, but *expired* cereal?
But they were sure it was still okay! Are you saying you don’t trust their judgement of the freshness of unopened baby cereal?
“I bought all this stuff for my baby but the state took him away. On a completely different note, if you see my husband here, please be discrete; he is *technically* a fugitive.”
of course it’s fine! it’s not like the exp date was 2 years ago or anything. ::checks pantry::
Sounds like something my 59 yr old mother would do, I recently found a pack of Taco shells in her pantry that expired in 1989. And she has moved twice since then!
My niece found my turmuric from 1963 and threw it away. I’m sure it would have been just fine if I ever used it.
I guess technically it wouldn’t be expired. It would be just fine instead of fantastic. (If baby cereal actually had the ability to be fantastic in the first place.)
Besides, if I paid any attention to the expiration date on my birth certificate, I would have been expired a long time ago.
I’m glad you’re fine, One, and hope you are at your best no matter what the date! 8)

Three years old!
…but now it’s VINTAGE.
Brer Fox, thank you for keeping the box right-side up! Punchity Punch Punch!
Good Morning, La Leche League!
Cereal? Meh. I’m holding out for some meat gerberts.
