YSaC, Vol. CIII.v
Okay, I have no idea how to make fractional roman numerals. I’m also not entirely sure that the Romans HAD fractions. [Note from the research team: As it turns out, they didn’t. It also turns out I did 99 wrong — it’s not IC, it’s XCIX.]
I just thought this one was kind of funny and didn’t want to wait to post it:
Sofa – MOVING come get today before 5pm
Date: 2008-10-30, 10:51PM CDT
Mission Style Sofa. Brand is Bassett. Call xxx-xxx-xxxx for more info.
I wonder how many people called this guy to point out that he posted it at 10:51 at night, which is, I’m pretty sure, after 5 pm.
(Yes, I’m sure he meant the next day … don’t be a killjoy. It’s funnier my way.)
Looks like an awesome last-minute Halloween costume!
“And what are you dressed as, little girl?”
“Brand is Bassett. Style is Mission. Dressed is sofa cushions.”
Is it just me, or does it sound like the couch is moving on it’s own, so you better come get it before 5, cuz that’s how long it will take for it to get out of sight of the seller?
Or does it just wiggle around, so that’s why they’re selling it?
No? Okay, that’s alright. I can giggle all by myself.
Can you blame the couch for wanting to move? Those are ugly pink walls.
I believe it’s called salmon, LL. 8) Still ugly, but picture it with a sponge pattern, and hi-lo variegated green shag carpet. That’s the first house Mike and I rented together, after some years in an apartment. I loved that house! This sofa, it would have been right at home. I believe the sofa we had was a dark blue with birds and flowers and crap all over it. Not from the birds. What were we talking about?
I like salmon… especially baked with a nice lemon zest and cracked pepper. But why stick it on the wall? Good way to tempt the bears to come live with you.
Well, considering it has legs and it knows how to use them…
getting them up to 88 mph is another matter.
Must leave all this behind, must find a better time and/or place.
Limelolly, your box Sunday is over, but I’m gonna phone in your Punchity Punch Punch!
Good Morning, Bassett Hounds!
