YSaC, Vol. 336: Pay no attention to the pointsettia behind the curtain.

My first test posting do not reply – $100

This is only a test from me to me.

Um.

Okay, then. Move along, nothing to see here.

What’s even more strange is that this was originally posted on May 9th; as I’m writing this, it is May 29th. Once you’ve figured out how to post things on Craigslist, wouldn’t you maybe think about going back and deleting your test post? Maybe?

Thanks for the submission, Krisha!

Yay me! Yay me! I made a post. Crap! I don’t know how to delete it. Oh well, no one will notice it, I’ll just leave it there.

Maybe she thinks it will just expire and go away on its own. (Not sure why I’m assuming the ad belongs to a “she.” I guess becuase it’s a picture of a poinsettia.)

p.s. Thanks for the edit button! I didn’t need it today but it sure would have been handy a while back and I’m also sure I’ll need its services again at some point. 🙂

So, is this the virtual equivalent of sending flowers to oneself so that it looks like one has lovers/admirers? If so, how sad is that?

and what’s the deal with her bleached poinsettia? maybe she’s trying to get sympathy for that plant.

I’d pay $100 for a plant that can post Craiglist ads – even if the ads it posts are sucky. I also like the fact that this plant is clearly keen on self improvement by testing itself.

This is like when someone posts another ad saying “XX is no longer for sale. Thanks.” Then just delete the original ad already!

I think it’s supposed to be a Zen koan.
