orange neon sign – $5
orange when lit…reads 4995…
Right. Okay then. I hope you won’t mind me asking, but are you sure you want $5 for it … or do you want $9? What? Why am I asking that? Oh, no reason.
Perhaps more puzzling — what does one do with a neon sign that says 4559 (or 4995, for that matter)?
*Homer holds up studded jacket that reads “Disco Stu”
“Hey Disco Stu, you should buy that jacket.”
“Disco Stu doesn’t advertise.”
No, no, no. See, you’re reading it upside down. The sign actually says “Gssh,” which is an expression of contempt.
It could be 455g – then you could open a trendy candy shop and sell candies for $100/per 455 grams.
Maybe you know a couple who celebrated their 50th anniversary back in April, and you’re really late getting them a gift?
