These ads are specifically why I do not spend much time going through the For Sale area on CL. This business of the title listing [specific thing] for [price] only to read the ad body text to find that [many things] are for ‘sell’ at [vague or random prices].
If I’m buying a two-axle trailer, I want to know specifics about a single given trailer. Like if it was previously owned/impounded/stolen/repo-ed or the like. Whether it’s been in a flood or fire or such; whether one (or more) insurance companies have it listed as “totaled” or not. Y’know, those minor details about buying things requiring state registration before operation on public roads.
