Two half Beagles for adoption

For adoption to good family, “free” Two 6 year old half beagles from pure bread parents. One half Beagle/Boston Terrier, One half half Beagle/Cavalier. Sweet, friendly and playful around everyone. Beautiful loving dogs. Family moving and dealing with unrelated health issues. Dogs maintained by one of [location]”s best Vets. Send email for info. Sorry, must be adopted together, they have been together since puppies.

No. I do NOT want to buy half a beagle. Even if it is pure bread. Besides, half a loaf of pure bread beagle will just go stale faster on the cut end. Still, “free” is a pretty good price. Not as good as [free], but still better than &Free?. It’s also sad that they almost got the apostrophe thing right, but then got a little too excited and ruined it.

Thanks for the post, Camille!

Let me guess what the pure breads are: white and pumpernickel for the one in back and white and rye for the one in front? Also, “free” is slightly less scary in quotes than with an asterisk.

The one in front looks like it is about half, but the one in back seems to be about three quarters. All in all though, you get at least the equivalent of an entire dog. And look, the parts that are missing are the whirlpoop ends. So, there is less cleanup. That is a positive.

The Half Half Decaf is to go, the Boston Cavalier Frappachino is for here, and the Best Vet Skinny is for here.

I wonder if I can get my half beagle lightly toasted with cream cheese?

    “One half half Beagle/Cavalier.”

So… that’s… one quarter half-Beagle, one quarter Cavalier? But then what’s the rest? GAAAH I suck at fractions.

Oh look, a double-headed dog for sale!

…on the other hand, I’ve got a great name for this new species of half-Beagles…

    We’ll call it the ‘pushme-pullyou’.

My question is what do we call the two back halves?

I hate having to do math over the summer, but if I’m not mistaken, this all adds up to 3/2’s dogs. What kind of vet “maintains” a half of a dog? Did he keep the oil changed, do the timing belt, and rotate the paws? Also, do they have to be kept together, considering recent Supreme Court ruling on DOMA?

Do they come with the rear wheels, or do you have to fit your own?

Sounds to me like the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm needs to tighten its security.

    Switching catulator to dog-math mode…

Sparky is offering one half dog and one half half (or one quarter) dog. 1/2 dog plus 1/4 dog = 3/4 dog, or the approximate size of the black dog in the picture.

To sum up: For the low, low price of “free”, Sparky is willing to part with his vintage Led Zeppelin LP.

Maybe the dogs are named Half and Half-Half. Kinda like Thing 1 and Thing 2.

And which one is the half-half? They both have some cream coloring to them.
